Jeri Hillegeist

Momivator Pilot

Jeri is a busy mother of four hilarious kids who fill her life with love, chaos, and laughter. She has accomplished a lot of things but feels that being a mother is the most meaningful work she has the privilege of doing. Her husband of 14 years also feels that motherhood is an awesome and important calling and he supports her in that role 100%. Most of her time is spent running kids to practice, school, lessons, cooking, coaching soccer, and volunteering with her church.

She is also a full-time student working on her Psychology Degree in hopes of working with couples and families through clinical psychology. She is passionate about strengthening families and feels that every individual needs a support system no matter what it looks like.

After learning about mental health awareness for years in college she gained real empathy and understanding for the subject after experiencing a major case of postpartum depression. She had to learn how to rely on others for help and seek out the right resources to become a new, better version of herself. It was a long, hard, and seemingly all-uphill journey. However, she is so grateful for the trial because she has become more aware of the signs and has helped many other mothers experiencing similar struggles.

She loves food, deep country hiking, and Elvis Presley. She is also a long-distance runner and enjoys running races for charities. She feels that the time spent as an involved mother should be valued by every individual and society higher than any title or currency. For it has the potential to yield significant results for everyone involved.
