Amanda Ballash

Momivate Volunteer

Amanda is a mother of 3 (hopefully with more to come). She married her husband Nathan in July of 2016 and every year keeps getting better. She has 2 boys and 1 girl, ages 0-5. Carter, Leo, and Annie.
She joined Momivate after finding an ad for a motherhood convention and fell in love with the values and vision that Momivate has.
Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah State University. After school, she worked for her father’s mortgage company as an office manager and loan assistant. She eventually became a loan officer and did that for 4 years. Now she is a postpartum doula with a passion for helping moms truly heal postpartum and navigate the physical and mental health challenges that come with being a mother.
Amanda has a goal to start a non-profit herself that will provide supplemental funds for families seeking mental health treatment, especially in the postpartum period. Her passion comes from years of personal suffering from mental illnesses and feeling more comfortable as a working mom, than a stay-at-home mom. She is finally trying to stay home more and is working to find joy and peace in motherhood as her young children try her every patience.
