Sarai Mata is the Assistant Executive Director of Momivate, where she leads program development, secures funding, and coordinates the organization’s SMILE Gatherings Program. A first-generation American and college graduate, Sarai holds a degree in Global Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Utah State University. Her professional background includes human resources, project management in the travel industry, and service as an AmeriCorps program coordinator.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Sarai also runs her own flower preservation business, Pressed and Bloomy. She is a proud wife and mom to a spirited two-year-old daughter—who often joins her at work. At the conference, Sarai will share how blending motherhood and leadership in the nonprofit space has empowered her to grow professionally while staying present with her daughter.
