Gym-goer, Introvert, Music Festival Lover, Daily OM-er, Aspiring Yogi, Mompreneur, and Self-Help & Self-Love Junkie! Sheryl’s motherhood journey has been nothing short of experiential! From having a baby at 17, to marrying young, becoming a stepmother, being a full-time SAHM, to divorcing, navigating single parenting, becoming a full-time working mom and now transitioning to full-time mompreneur and homeschooler. Whew! But she wouldn’t change the course of the events in her life because that is where she found herself. She believes that the beauty in life lies in the paradox of the greatest joys being found in the depths of sorrows. Sheryl is a mother to her three favorite little humans and currently lives in Washington state. As a family, Sheryl and her children love to be active outdoors; hiking, kayaking, and riding horses. Sheryl is passionate about helping women DO less and BE more in their lives. She works as a Transformational Life Coach serving women who are ready to learn how to trust themselves again. She finds so much love and joy in being an advocate for reflecting women’s unique potential back to them and helping them create the life of their dreams.

Son. Daughter. Son. Daughter. Son. Daughter. Raised the middle of three children, our mother had great respect for her mother and the talents she offered in raising her family. Mom chose to follow in her mother‘s footsteps by not only having three children but doubling that.

She is currently the matron of six children, 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Her years as a stay at home mother involved endless meal preparation, keeping clothes on our backs, shoes on our feet, transporting us in countless directions, and providing direction, words of wisdom and encouragement . Later as we navigated adulthood, she always had a listening ear and her own experiences to share we could learn from.

She was a hands on mom, instilling the love of stories and reading, help with school work, and was a great cheerleader to each of her child’s interests. The most important thing our mother taught us was to “Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge him and he will direct our paths.”

Tammy Renstrom is mother of two children and grandmother to 5 children that are the lights of her life. She truly is one of the most selfless people I know.  The type of mom who never cared about herself being recognized as long as she could bring a smile to her children’s face.  All through my elementary school years, she would pack my brother’s and mine lunches every single day, jam-packed full of love, and equipped with an awesome sandwich, mini root beer or sprite, twix candy bar and a ho ho with some random vegetable thrown in the mix — as well as a handwritten note on a napkin.  Now as you can imagine my brother and I were the envy of all to have a mom so “Awesome.”   She made sure our house was the house that other kids wanted to be at.  She didn’t like us being somewhere else. It worried her too much and so we had an air hockey table, ping pong table, dual basketball mini shooter and all of the latest video games you could imagine.  She made sure our home was a safe haven and a place where many could go to escape from the struggles of the world.

Tammy is a living miracle and we are so happy to have her here with us today.  She became very ill in 2018. Doctors even told us to prepare the family for the worst. They did not think she would make it through the night as the doctors and nurses worked on her, my brother and I kneeled in prayer begging the Lord to give us more time with her. Through God’s grace, she survived and has surpassed many obstacles, such as breaking her leg and surviving the pandemic of 2020.

She has a love for sports and is a die hard Utah Jazz fan that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She loves music and has an incredible voice in which she even had the opportunity to serve our country on a USO tour when she was 18 years old.  She is our Superhero! We love you, Mom!
