Momivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering mothers by cultivating maternal instincts into confident maternal influence. We support mothers through mentorship, curriculum development, and community outreach, helping them thrive in their vital roles.

Position Overview

As Momivate’s Cultivate Leader, you will oversee initiatives that help mothers develop their natural instincts into confident maternal influence. This role is one of Momivate’s four key pillars. You will provide leadership, train and support volunteer mentors, and enhance curriculum and programming to strengthen motherhood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentorship & Training:
    • Oversee the Momivator program, training and supporting volunteer mentors who lead SMILE gatherings.
    • Ensure program guidelines are followed and issue certificates to trained Momivators.
    • Supervise the Momivator Coordinator and RAISE UP CouncilMoms to facilitate program success.
  • Curriculum Development:
    • Lead the development and refinement of the R.A.I.S.E. U.P. curriculum.
    • Curate and integrate new resources to enhance curriculum topics.
    • Support curriculum contributors in creating meaningful content for mothers.
  • Momversations Oversight:
    • Provide guidance and support for the Momversations Podcast, which shares the R.A.I.S.E. U.P. curriculum through engaging discussions.
    • Maintain communication with hosts and production assistants to offer strategic input and guest recommendations.
  • Leadership & Outreach:
    • Serve as a “Mombassador,” representing Momivate through outreach efforts, group presentations, and networking opportunities.
    • Build connections with mothers who could benefit from Momivate’s programs or contribute as volunteers.

Requirements

  • Passion for supporting and empowering mothers.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to dedicate at least 3 hours per week.
  • Willingness to participate in weekly board meetings (upon transition to MotherBoard role).
  • Commitment to nonprofit fundraising (personal donation, donor recruitment, or organizing fundraisers).

Momivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering mothers. We believe in elevating the respect given to the role of motherhood and supporting moms through advocacy, recognition, and community-building.

Position Overview

As Momivate’s Elevate Leader, you will oversee initiatives aimed at increasing societal respect for the role of motherhood. This is one of Momivate’s four key pillars (Activate, Cultivate, Innovate, Elevate). You will lead efforts in social media engagement, recognition programs, professional advocacy, and future certification initiatives—all with the goal of uplifting and validating the significance of motherhood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Leadership (High Priority):
    • Recruit, train, and manage a volunteer Social Media Team to create and share content.
    • Oversee content strategy across platforms, ensuring cohesive messaging with the Newsletter and Website Teams.
    • Utilize Canva Pro for branding and design consistency.
    • Expand social media presence beyond Facebook and Instagram to platforms like Pinterest, X, NextDoor, and Peanut.
  • Wall of Honor Promotion:
    • Promote and encourage the gifting of pages on the Wall of Honor, recognizing and celebrating mothers.
  • Team Leadership & Outreach:
    • Recruit and train volunteers to help carry out these initiatives while ensuring no one is overwhelmed.
    • Oversee and support the Team Solidarity ChairMom in fostering a strong, united volunteer team.
    • Serve as a “Mombassador,” representing Momivate in outreach efforts, group presentations, and networking opportunities.
  • Certification Program (Future Initiative):
    • Support the development of a certification program for mothers, ensuring fair recognition of their skills and progress.
  • Advocacy Among Employers:
    • Help develop messaging and connections to encourage employers to recognize the valuable soft skills mothers bring to the workforce.

Time Commitment & Expectations

  • Dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per week to leadership duties and outreach.
  • Communicate proactively if circumstances impact your ability to fulfill responsibilities.

Growth Opportunity

Within the next year, this role may transition to a leadership position on the Momivate MotherBoard, involving weekly strategic meetings and nonprofit responsibilities, including fundraising and donor outreach.

Role Overview

As the Activate Leader, you will oversee Momivate’s efforts to activate the powerful force that mothers are designed to be. This is one of our four core pillars. You’ll organize events, curate resources, build a supportive team, and serve as a “Mombassador” to promote our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Community Engagement:
    • Organize monthly MomEvents to inspire and uplift mothers
    • Develop and maintain a Perpetual Calendar of events
    • Foster community through Help Mums Unite! Initiatives
  • Content & Resource Coordination:
    • Collaborate with Innovate Leader (Website) and Elevate Leader (Social Media) to compile resources for a weekly SMILE newsletter
    • Gather and distribute relevant materials to support mothers
  • Team Building & Leadership:
    • Recruit and train a team of moms to assist with Activate initiatives
    • Serve as a mentor and accountability partner for volunteers
  • Swag & Outreach:
    • Manage promotional materials via PrintYourCause.com
    • Serve as a Mombassador by reaching out to women who could benefit from Momivate’s mission or may want to join our team
    • Engage with individuals and groups, including giving presentations or representing Momivate on podcasts
  • Commitment to the MotherBoard (Future Responsibility):
    • This role will become an official MotherBoard position within the next year, requiring weekly board meetings and nonprofit-direct responsibilities, including securing a meaningful donation each year (through personal funds, donor connections, or fundraising)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to dedicate at least 3 hours per week
  • Leadership experience is a plus, but not required
