KATE STRANGE
mOMIVATOR
Kate Strange joined the Momivate team as a Momivator in April 2026. She first learned of Momivate from a flyer posted in the local library when she was searching for community connections as a first-time mom in the trenches of postpartum. Kate connected deeply with the vision of motherhood expressed in Momivate’s Momifesto—that motherhood, while messy and challenging, is a role with immensely powerful influence. She loves that Momivate honors that role and seeks to provide better community and support to moms everywhere. She is excited to be a part of Momivate and support its empowering mission.
Kate comes from a family of seven children. As the oldest daughter, she often acted as a secondary mom. Kate also had the opportunity to teach her younger siblings as a part of her family’s homeschool program. This led her to study Elementary Education in college. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University in April 2023. Kate continued to explore teaching as a career, working first as a teacher in a work-provided childcare facility and later as a teaching assistant in a combined 2nd and 3rd-grade classroom. While she found she enjoyed many aspects of teaching, Kate stepped away from career-oriented teaching to preserve her mental and physical health and focus on starting a family. After three miscarriages, Kate and her husband welcomed their rainbow baby in April 2025.
Kate is so grateful to be a mother to three angel babies and a beautiful, intelligent daughter. While not easy, motherhood has been healing for her soul. Kate loves how motherhood forces her to slow down, experience things for the first time again through her daughter’s eyes, and prioritize what’s truly important. Aside from nurturing her daughter, Kate enjoys a variety of hobbies, including writing, crocheting, singing, reading, and organizing.
