Is Momivate a Religious organization?
The firm, short answer is no, we are not affiliated with any religion. This is a critically important understanding that can impact our funding opportunities with grants. We are true to our commitment to remain free from ties to religious entities.
The long answer is below:
As one of our 42 facets, Momivate joyfully invites and encourages mothers to connect with their most powerful co-creator, and so we may include insights about having a Relationship with God on our website in the form of blog posts. Once a year, it is the topic of our S.M.I.L.E. gatherings.
We acknowledge that worshiping God is understood and practiced with vast variety, and we value strength in diversity. We honor all who are living true to their convictions, trusting that they have conscientiously determined what those convictions are. We do not teach or attempt to instill convictions of any specific denomination or faith tradition. We do not host worship services.
SMILE Gatherings might be held in a church building and our RAISE UP curriculum might be used within a faith community as an offering to the mothers of their congregation. This does not indicate any official affiliation with or endorsement of that religion.
Belief in divinity is *not* a requirement to join us. Please know that we are lovingly inclusive!
We appreciate opportunities to respectfully discuss various perspectives regarding faith.
If you are not currently comfortable with religious discussions, please know that we welcome you regardless and will do our best to accommodate your need to refrain from participating in such discussions.
