Rachel Sullivan and her Family

Rachel Sullivan

Chairmom of Operational Dynamics

Rachel Sullivan is a full- time mom of four teenagers and a part- time author of a parenting book (with a few more manuscripts up her sleeve). She graduated from BYU with a degree in English and a minor in Marriage, Family, and Human Development.

Rachel believes that every stage of motherhood is challenging but beautiful. Life may not turn out how we think, but it’s still full of joy! Throughout her motherhood journey, Rachel has discovered the bewildering world of blood sugar with her daughter with type 1 diabetes; gone to battle with her cookbook to learn how to feed two family members with celiac disease; walked with her infant and toddler through nine eye surgeries; and learned to thrive after losing her right eye to cancer while she was expecting her second child. In her challenges, Rachel has learned about love. If she could sit down with you, she would love to tell you that you are better than you realize, everything is going to turn out just fine, and your future is brimming with hope!
Rachel loves Momivate’s vision of connecting, empowering, and inspiring moms. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys snuggling her kids during family read-alouds or movie nights; long walks with her husband; whipping up treats in her kitchen; and singing loudly into the microphone she keeps in her car.
Rachel would love to connect with you or share hope with your mom group. You can reach her at rachelsullivan@momivate.org
